By booking a safari or travel service with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline your rights, obligations, and the responsibilities of both parties.
1. About Us
AM Tanzanite Travel and Tours is a registered Tanzanian tour operator specializing in safaris, mountain treks, and beach holidays across Tanzania and East Africa.
All tours and services provided by AM Tanzanite Travel and Tours are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking and Confirmation
A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the start of your trip, unless otherwise agreed.
For bookings made less than 30 days prior to the start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Once your payment has been received, a confirmation invoice and detailed itinerary will be sent to you.
3. Payment Methods
We accept payments via:
Bank transfer (in USD or TZS)
Credit/debit card (secure online payment link)
Mobile payment (available for local clients)
All payment details will be provided directly by AM Tanzanite Travel and Tours through official channels (email: info@amtanzanite.com).
4. Cancellations and Refunds
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing via email. The following cancellation fees apply:

| 30–59 days before travel | 25% of total tour cost |
| 15–29 days before travel | 50% of total tour cost |
| Less than 15 days before travel | 100% (no refund) |
Please note:
Refunds are subject to deductions for any unrecoverable costs already incurred (e.g., hotel deposits, park fees).
We recommend all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations.
5. Changes and Modifications
We will make every effort to adhere to your confirmed itinerary. However, AM Tanzanite Travel and Tours reserves the right to modify arrangements in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, flight delays, park closures, or safety concerns.
If changes are necessary, we will always provide a suitable alternative of equal or greater value.
6. Pricing
All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on current park fees, government taxes, and exchange rates.
If any of these change prior to your travel date, AM Tanzanite Travel and Tours reserves the right to adjust the tour price accordingly.
7. Travel Insurance
All clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers:
Medical expenses
Trip cancellations and delays
Lost baggage
Personal liability and evacuation
AM Tanzanite Travel and Tours will not be held liable for costs arising from a client’s failure to obtain adequate insurance.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for ensuring that:
All travel documents (passports, visas, vaccination certificates) are valid and up-to-date.
They arrive on time for all scheduled activities, transfers, and flights.
They conduct themselves respectfully toward guides, staff, wildlife, and fellow travelers.
AM Tanzanite Travel and Tours reserves the right to terminate participation without refund for any traveler whose behavior disrupts the tour or endangers others.
9. Company Responsibilities
AM Tanzanite Travel and Tours commits to:
Providing high-quality travel services as described in your confirmed itinerary.
Employing qualified, experienced, and licensed guides and drivers.
Ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are well maintained and safe.
We work only with trusted hotels, lodges, and service providers who meet our quality and safety standards.
10. Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure your safety and satisfaction, AM Tanzanite Travel and Tours cannot accept liability for:
Acts of nature (weather, wildlife behavior, natural disasters)
Delays, cancellations, or losses caused by airlines or third-party providers
Illness, injury, or death during travel
Loss or damage of personal property
Participation in any safari or adventure activity is at your own risk. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.
11. Health and Safety
Some safaris and treks may require moderate physical fitness. Please consult your doctor before travel if you have any medical conditions.
You are also responsible for obtaining required vaccinations and malaria prevention as recommended for travel in Tanzania.
12. Complaints and Feedback
We value your feedback.
If you have any complaints during your trip, please report them immediately to your guide or our office so we can resolve the issue promptly.
After your safari, we welcome your feedback to help us improve our services.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania.
Any disputes arising under these terms shall be settled in the courts of the United Republic of Tanzania.
