At Lake Eyasi, you’ll meet the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, two of Tanzania’s most traditional

journey then continues to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its

Day by Day Experience

Tarangire National Park

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Eyasi Cultural Experience

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Eyasi. Meet the
Hadzabe bushmen and join them on a morning or afternoon hunting activity to learn about their
traditional ways of life. Visit the Datoga blacksmith community to witness metal crafting using
ancient techniques. Enjoy scenic views of the lake before dinner and overnight at your lodge or
camp.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the
Crater for a half-day game drive. Encounter lions, elephants, zebras, and possibly the
endangered black rhino amidst stunning scenery. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, then
ascend and return to Arusha in the afternoon.
